Job Description
• Develop RFQ's for critical crude and EIU including instructions to bidders, ITP's, plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Assemble technical and commercial evaluation teams.
• Serve as the point of contact and liaison between evaluators and the bidder.
• Responsible for obtaining requests for clarification
• Performs risk assessments for exceptions to terms and conditions.
• Negotiates final cost and schedule.
• Administers change orders approved by the Variance Committee and provides cost analysis support to the technical leads
• Reviews all invoices to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
• Alerts senior management to manufacturing or schedule issues and recommends solutions.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Obtains all warranty documentation and lien releases prior to closeout.

Job Specific Knowledge:
• Knowledge of the complete purchasing life cycle from requisitioning through materials management
• Experience with purchasing software
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of subcontracting a strong plus Industry Specific Experience: 2- 5 years experience in purchasing with 1-2 years in the oil and gas field
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
B.Sc. in Business Admin or applicable discipline, HSE Capability:
Commitment to safe working practices and ability to promote safety consciousness within the department
IT Skills:
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suites applications
People Skills:
Requires communication skills to be able to successfully work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other disciplines
