Eligibility:

-Be a Canning College student in 2012

-Be an international student and hold a valid Student Visa – Higher Education (Subclass 573)

-Have received a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) in an eligible Engineering undergraduate course at Curtin University in 2013

-Commencing the first year of study at Curtin University, in an eligible course in 2013

-Have selected Curtin University through TISC as a first preference to undertake an eligible Engineering undergraduate degree

-Receive an ATAR or equivalent of 96.00 or above

Scholarship Open for International Students: Yes

Scholarship Description: The Curtin Canning College Engineering International Bursary is available to international students enrolling at Curtin University in 2013 who have demonstrated a high-level academic achievement in their studies at Canning College, and obtained an ATAR of 96 or above or equivalent in 2012. One Bursary will be awarded in each of the areas of Chemical, Civil, Electrical & Computer and Mechanical Engineering.The Bursary will provide a cash payment of $1,000 per year (based on a full time study load of 100 credit points each semester) to assist with costs associated with studying (textbooks, incidental expenses etc) for the normal expected duration of the degree for which the scholarship is offered.
