Description:
The School Management Specialist (SMS) will provide leadership, direction and coordination for school-management training, assessment, coaching, mentoring and materials development activities in the support of early grade reading. The SMS should have proven expertise aimed at improving quality of early grade reading through the mobilization and support involvement of PTAs/SBMCs and other local actors at the school community levels.
Minimum Requirements:
• At least 10 years' experience in teaching, school management and administration and experience in mobilizing parents and communities for school improvement
• Masters' Degree in Education or Related field or Bachelors and additional 5 years (15 total of field experience).
• Record of effective training and technical assistance design, materials development and delivery
• Fluency in English and Hausa.
