Role Synopsis:
At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for conducting and performing pumping operations n the form of welding on customer locations as per Baker Hughes standard practices, maintenance in accordance with Baker Hughes procedures and as required. To maintain and grow the company's status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry by ensuring that the highest quality standards are achieved to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
1. Receives jobs routed through the Maintenance Supervisor
2. Maintains traceability of all metals in accordance with Company Quality System Management Procedure
3. Carries out general fabrication and welding duties as required..
4. Carries out repairs to damaged equipment as instructed
5. Informs stores of stocking consumable requirements
6. Raises necessary documentation and completes job cards
7. Ensures tools are kept in good condition and that work place is kept tidy and safe
8. Carries out general fabrication duties as instructed
9. Adheres to Company QA System Procedures
10. Ensures full awareness of and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant Company/ customer HSE Handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures.
11. Actively ensures that his / her own health & safety and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers is preserved at all times.
