Job Description:
• The Multi-component Processing Geophysicist conducts all required tasks related to Multi-component contract projects in accordance with specified processing standards and defined quality assurance measures to meet the client objectives. In contact with R&D, he/she conducts technical studies and tests in order to validate new technologies and methodologies which will be implemented.
• The Multi-component Processing Geophysicist will develop an understanding of project planning, estimating timelines, resources, budgets, and essential follow through as their training and experience progresses.
• The Multi-component Processing Geophysicist is expected to interact with client representatives for project management purposes.
• The Multi-component Processing Geophysicist is engaged in production processing activities involving multi-component (MC) seismic data, including 3C, 4C (Ocean Bottom Seismic / Cable or Node).
• Ocean bottom cabling
Desired Skills & Experience:
• BSc or higher in Geosciences, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or other analytical discipline
• 4-5 years processing experience ideally
• 1/2 years of Multicomponent experience would be preferrable but not essential
