MAIN ACTIVITIES:
• Develop, drive and control sourcing activities within the Company
• Anticipate business needs and ensure the implementation of sourcing and supplier management strategies within the Company
• Ensure supplier management
• Develop contract for categories, services and Capex
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure sourcing initiatives for categories/services and equipment fully address business objectives and needs
• Establish targets and objectives for categories/services and equipment with the Procurement Director
• Develop a 2nd Tier of key suppliers for selected category, equipment and critical spares areas to support plant availability
• Collaborate with all UniCem department to agree and optimise effective sourcing and supplier management initiatives
• Conduct rigorous performance management of the Sourcing team to ensure excellent performance
• Ensure benefit target achieved
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Preferred Education: – MBA, University Degree in Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Planning
Preferred Professional membership: CPM Certified
Preferred Experience: – Minimum of 10 years in procurement or operation function – Minimum of 5 years in senior sourcing position with exposure to supply
chain management, complex strategic sourcing and optimal
procurement processes – Proven performance in managing and developing a sourcing team, with
requisite drive and energy to ensure a challenging benefits and
capability building agenda is successfully delivered
Computer Skills: – Detailed knowledge of MS Office, Navision and JDE
Other Skills:
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical, financial analysis, planning and organizing capability
• Leadership ability to build relationships and command respect across multiple functions
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong focus on cost management and minimization and proven ability to generate results
• Strong subject-matter expertise in Supply Chain Management, company law, contract law, sourcing and procurement standards
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good attention to detail
• Good presentation skills
• Good time management skills
