MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintenance Management softwares: CMMS (Maximo), ADAP, Project software.
• Best practices: Maintenance budget, Reliability Committee, Risk assessment, etc.
• Safety policies (local & International).
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
SAFETY
• Communicate clearly on information relating to potentially dangerous situations and get confirmation that they are correctly understood.
• Make sure that key equipment is working properly.
• Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Check for safety and cleanness in the workplace.
MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES
• Set and share Maintenance Department long, medium and short term goals and objectives in line with plant objectives.
• Ensure adoption and adherence to Lafarge standards, norms and best practices
• Inform the Maintenance community about local best-practices, difficulties and results
• Contribute to the achievement of production, quality, environment, reliability and utilization targets.
• Contribute to the conception, acceptance and integration of new equipment and installations.
• Contribute to spares warehouse optimization (in cooperation with other departments concerned).
• Contribute to the Plant improvement Program (PIP).
PROCESSES DEVELOPMENT
• Define, follow-up and optimize Maintenance expenses.
• Manage the performance of the maintenance department including effective use of key performance indicators.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of maintenance processes.
• Validate some work requests and work orders.
• Propose and schedule maintenance major operations.
• Elaborate and/or update equipment risk assessment.
• Comply with kiln shutdowns practices in terms of duration, activities and costs.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Professional and/or technical competencies:
• An Engineering degree with a specific focus on mechanical or electrical engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years experience in the maintenance field: methods, new works or technology from technical centres in the cement industry, at least in heavy manufacturing or process industry.
• Proven skills in managing people (at least 4 years as Head of an operational department). Has to be comfortable with developing/implementing maintenance processes (i.e.: two years of experience as Methods engineer).
Behavioural and/or managerial competencies:
• Leading People/Good Leadership Prowess: Ensure the management of individual performance create and maintain a motivating work environment within the Maintenance Department. Build skill development programs for maintenance personnel and evaluate the results.

• Good Inter Personal Relations and Communication Skills
• Ability to transfer knowledge within a specified period.
