Title: Federal University of Technology Owerri - FUTO 2012/2013 Supplementary Admission

Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) will soon commence its 2012/2013 Supplementary Admission exercise. Sales of the supplementary admission form on Tuesday 28th August 2012.

Interested candidates who made FUTO their 1st and 2nd choices, sat for the 2012/2013 Post-UTME in FUTO and scored a minimum of 180 in the FUTO PUME can now apply through the following process.

1. Payment of the sum of #10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira only) at any of the following banks using e-transact platform:
•   Diamond Bank
•   First Bank
•   FCMB
•   UBA

2. Download 1 supplementary admission form per candidate from the FUTO website (Federal University of Technology, Owerri > Home (http://u.theinfostrides.com/futo)) and complete it.

3. The completed supplementary admission form are then returned not later than Tuesday 11th September 2012 to the Admission Unit, Registry Annex with photocopies of the following items:
•   E-tranzact slip,
•   JAMB result slip,
•   FUTO Post UTME result slip.

MINIMUM SCORE REQUIREMENTS FOR VARIOUS COURSES

There will be NO SUPPLEMENTARY admission for Elect/Elect, Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science.

Minimum score of 240 and above in average for Dental Tech, Optical Tech, Public Health Tech, and Civil Engineering.

Minimum score of 220 and above in average for Prosthesis and Orth Tech, Project Management Technology, Bio Chemistry, Industrial Micro Biology, Information Management Technology, Geology, Material & Met Engineering, and Polymer and Textile Engineering.

Minimum score of 200 and above in average for Agric Engineering, Food Science and Tech, Biotechnology, Agric Econs, Transport Management Tech, Maritime Management Tech, Financial Management Tech, Biomedical Tech, Ind Physics, Ind Chem, Biology, Maths, Science Lab, and Statistics.

Minimum score of 180 and above in average for Agric Ext, Animal Sci Tech, Crop Sci Tech, Fishery&Aq Tech, Forestory &Wildlife Tech, Soil Sci Tech, Building Tech, Environment Tech, Landscape Architectural Tech, Quantity Surveying Tech, Surveyin & Geoinformatics, Urban & Regional Planning.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. That before the above average cut off scores can be used, the candidate should have a minimum of 180 in JAMB and the FUTO PUME for departments in SAAT, SMAT, SOET and SOHT; and 200 each in JAMB and PUME for dept in SEET and SOSC.

2. That candidates should not complete the forms into more than one department as this will attract outright disqualification.
