Eligibility:
-AHRC studentships are open to UK and EU students who meet the residency requirements set out by the AHRC (please see the AHRC Guide to Student Funding for full details) and who are planning to begin their studies in September 2013.
-Applicants must have gained an undergraduate degree from a recognised university, or be a current undergraduate expecting to graduate before 31 July 2013.
-Applicants should normally have, or be studying for a Master's degree. Please note that if successful you may be required to produce evidence of your qualifications at registration. Susintercourse AHRC doctoral studentships cover a contribution to fees (currently £3,828 per annum) and a maintenance allowance (currently £13,590). A full scholarship is offered to those meeting UK residency criteria.
-EU nationals resident in the EU/EEA are eligible for a fees-only studentship.
-Overseas students are not normally eligible for AHRC funding. Rates may be subject to change.

Scholarship Description: In 2009, Susintercourse was awarded a substantial number of doctoral studentships for a period of five years within an AHRC Block Grant Partnership (BGP) award. Susintercourse was graded 'excellent' in terms of its postgraduate supervision and training.
What it covers: Doctoral studentships cover a fee contribution (currently £3,828 per annum) and a maintenance allowance (currently £13,590).
