Rivers State Polytechnic (RIVPOLY), Bori has announced its supplementary admission for 2012/2013 academic session.
Supplementary admission forms are now available for all those who wrote 2012 JAMB (UTME) for admission into the following departments:
1. Accountancy
2. Banking and Finance
3. Business Administration and Management
4. Insurance
5. Marketing
6. Mass Communication
7. Office Technology and Management
8. Civil Engineering
9. Electrical/ Electronics
10. Mechanical Engineering
11. Computer Science
12. Science Laboratory Technology
13. Statistics
14. Surveying/ Geo-informatics
15. Architecture
Note: This supplementary admission is for Polytechnic candidates who scored from 160 and above in the 2012 UTME JAMB
METHOD OF ADMISSION (ADMISSION PROCEDURE)
1. Candidates pay the sum of N15,000 for admission form to the following banks:
FinBank Bori - 3002435497
Union Bank Bori - 0011793686
Eco Bank Ikwerre Road – 0472002169
Unity Bank Rumuomasi - 0003257733
And N1,000 for the portal access scratch card. (Total Payment of N16,000)
2. Applicants proceed to the Polytechnic Bursary and present bank tellers. In exchange they are issued an official receipt and a portal scratch card.
3. With the scratch card, applicants log into the portal (Riv Poly Portal: Home (http://u.theinfostrides.com/rivpolybori-portal)) to fill online application forms.
4. On successful application, an SMS alert is automatically sent to his/her phone acknowledging receipt of the application
5. With the same scratch card, applicants can from time to time check status of their admissions at the portal.
6. On announcement of admissions, all applicants would receive SMS alert and a copy of list of successful applicants to be admitted would be published on the school portal.
Closing date for submission is 30th September, 2012.
