JOB DESCRIPTION
• The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build Client's brand
• The BDM reports directly to the CMO/CEO
• Develop a marketing plan that will aggressively pursue target market shares in the different areas of the economy
• Initiate and conduct sales calls on potential new accounts
• Prepare presentation materials outlining company's ICT services and present to potential new accounts
• Recommend continuous improvement initiatives for sales call plan and other sales strategies
• Meet specified budget plan by improving sales call plan and increasing account base
• Recommend action that ensure that all resources are focused on appropriate priorities to maximize
• positive impact
• Manage relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
• Input and analyze customer data; utilize data to recommend next steps for sales process
• Ability to understand changing market dynamics and translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company marketing objectives.
QUALIFICATION
• A bachelors's degree with not below Second Class lower grade. A Masters Degree with specialisation in marketing will be an added advantage
• 4 – 8 years in marketing/sales/business development experience in an ICT company
• 3-5 years Experience in a similar position with ability to motivate and provide leadership to the marketing/sales team
• Experience in building brand awareness and support
• Effectively utilize sales-related information technology applications (PowerPoint, Excel/Word/Access)
