The Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti at the Weekend Matriculated its pioneer students , Urging them to be of good conduct towards the realization of the institutions goal to make them compete favorably with their peers around the Globe.
The Education Minister, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufai, urged the students to take their studies seriously, saying education was the only way to empower them to be relevant in a very competitive world.
Speaking Earlier, the University's vice chancellor, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, said that the University would Inculate the Spirit of Entreprenuership and innovation in the students as a way of giving them the edge in the Labour market.
The Federal University oye-ekiti(FUOYE) is the first among the Nine Newly established universities, by the federal government, to take off from its permanent site, and the University has two sites ready for Use.
The students who are 512 in Number, also pledged their commitment to abide by the rules and regulations of the University.
