The Police recently arraigned two alleged fake doctors, Victor Bakwasm, 50, and Solomon Iorhemba, 40, before the Karu Senior Magistrate's Court, accusing them of joint act and impersonation.
The prosecutor, Glory Iheanacho, a Corporal, told the court that the case was reported at the Jikwoyi Police Station by Dr. Emmanuel Onyekele of Health Human Services Secretariat, Area 11, Abuja.
Iheanacho said that the complainant, during his routine inspection of private health facilities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on August 28, discovered that the two, who paraded themselves as medical doctors, were not.
She said the accused paraded themselves as medical doctors and carried out surgical operations on patients without having had any medical training.
