Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert is demanding greater consistency and more match-winning performances from Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Lambert was treated to the best of the striker in midweek, with Agbonlahor's outstanding individual display helping to knock Manchester City out of the Capital One Cup.
Those performances have been rare from Agbonlahor over the last couple of seasons, because of difficulties under former managers Gerard Houllier and Alex McLeish and that has cost him his place in the England squad.
I trust Gabriel to do better things in subsequent games.He is a good stricker on the field of play
