Four people were killed in Maiduguri at a wedding ceremony over the weekend in Maiduguri by gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram. Daily Sun gathered that the gunmen whose number could not be ascertained, stormed the residence where the wedding was taking place behind the Green House along West End last Saturday.
"They started shooting sporadically and I wasthere as a photographer. I jumped into a ditch and sustained minor injury but four people were hit by bullet," an eyewitness who did not want his name in print disclosed.
Meanwhile, an Immigration officer, Ahmed Grema Mohammed who is suspected to be a member of the Boko Haram sect has been arrested by the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Maiduguri.
