Clint Dempsey and his Tottenham Hotspur team-mates are relishing their Europa League campaign, with the American backing his new side to claim glory.
Tottenham were held to a 0-0 draw by Lazio in their opening match of Group J, but will look to secure their first win when they travel to Panathinaikos on Thursday.
Dempsey reached the final of the Europa League with his former club Fulham in 2010, while his new manager at Spurs, Andre Villas-Boas, triumphed in the competition in2011.
