Bolton striker Marvin Sordell has revealed that he and three of his team-mates were racially abused by Millwall fans on Saturday.
Sordell, 21, made the claims on Twitter and said he has reported the incident that saw midfielders Lee Chung-yong and Darren Pratley, plus fellow forward Benik Afobe, subjected to racist taunts by some home supporters during his side's 2-1 defeat at the Den.
Sordell said on Twitter: "Putting the match aside, its 2012 in england and people are still shouting racial abuse at a football game!? £Shocking.''
He added: "Chungy, Pratts, Benikand i had all sorts of things saidto us. The police were standing yards away and did nothing...''
Sordell also received abusive responses to his allegations on Twitter.
He added: "Funniest thing is if had come on and scored and gave them some back, i would be the one who got fined.'
I honestly hope this racism of a thing stops on time. It's getting really annoying to me
I hope the authorities will do something about this quick
