Eligibility:
Applicants must hold a degree at Doctor's or Master's level, or equivalent, in law or other relevant sciences. The applicants' education and work experience should demonstrate ability to work in an interdisciplinary group and to do independent work within law related to information and communication technology. Applicants with specialized competence within data security and risk assessment will be preferred.

Scholarship Description: The project is funded by the European Commission under FP7-ICT-2011-8. Overall objective of the RASEN project is to strengthen European organisations' ability to conduct security assessments of large scale networked systems through the combination of security risk assessment and security testing, taking into account the context in which the system is used, such as liability, legal and organisational issues as well as technical issues. The vacant post is mainly linked to legal aspects of the project, first and foremost a work package with the objective to develop a methodology and toolbox which takes into account risk assessment in legal contexts.

Tenure of award: It is applicable for one Year. The period of employment may be extended by three months.
Value: Total offer is of Salary on level 48-55 of the official salary scale (NOK 403 300,- – 452 900,- per year) for researcher without PhD degree, level 57-67 (NOK 468 400,- – 563 000,- per year) for researcher with PhD degree

Selection criteria:The candidate's grades, the discussion paper, and the applicant's personal qualifications will be taken into consideration in the evaluation of the applications.
