Bayern Munich left back David Alaba is set to make his comeback from injury in a friendly against Unterhaching on Thursday.
Alaba, 20, who made 11 Champions League appearances for his club last season, has been out of action for two and a half months after picking up a fatigue fracture in his left foot.
The Austria international has been back in training for a fortnight and is now ready to gain some match fitness, with areturn to the Bayern first team planned for the October 20 fixture against Fortuna Dusseldorf.
"All players who are here and fit will play," coach Jupp Heynckes said of the friendly for players not departing to their international sides this week.
However, Alaba could then meet up with his Austria team-mates ahead of their game against Kazakhstan on Tuesday.
