Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi has said the Super Eagles are fired up to reach next year's AFCON and as such will thrash Liberia on Saturday at home.
"The (team) spirit is high and with our form and determination we will beat Liberia silly," Mikel said.
"I am not looking down on them, but it's a game to determine our participation in the Nations Cup and we are ready to grab it with both hands.
"I am here for the game and I am ready to do battle against Liberia. I am in good shape and form now, I will do my best to see that we beat Liberia.
"It is a battle we have to win, we know what is at stake and we are not taking it easy with them."

I hope they are not only talking with their mouth? We need that victory more than any other thing o
I believe you Mikel Obi!!!
If we keep making so much noise and end up not playing the game, what is the essence of football then? Let us play the game first before we conclude that we have trashed Liberia.
Talk less and play more, they should not run their mouth because there are no more minnows in African football and if not careful the eagles might be shocked.
super eagles have really shown their woth. mikel foresaw it. good one from eagles
