Former member of the Nigeria Football Federation, Taiwo Ogunjobi has expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Super Eagles against the Lone Stars of Liberia in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Calabar.
The coach Stephen Keshi led side defeated the Lone Stars of Liberia 8-3 on aggregate toqualify for next year's Africa Cup of Nations slated for South Africa but the Osun State Football Association Chairman advised the team not to relent on the victory but to workhard so as to regain its lost glory on the continent.
"The team's performance is a sweet one looking at how coach Stephen keshi and his players approached the game, it`s was what we have been clamoring for.The team needs not relent on the victory alone because this is just a start for the Super Eagles in regaining their lost glory on the continent.
Ogunjobi urged Coach Stephen Keshi to startpreparations for 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in earnest so as to have a successful tourneyin South Africa.
We thank him for bringing us thus far.We so appreciate his good works that have shown in the team
