Armed with various placards, the protesters from Oron/Udung Uko, Ibiono Ibom, Urue Offong Oruko and others accused some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains of diverting polling materials.
Chairman of the House of Assembly Nomination Committee, Umaru Dan Adah, had earlier cancelled polls in seven councils of Etim Ekpo\Ika, Uruan, Mbo, Ukanafun, Ibiono Ibom, Abak and Mkpat Enin due to ''irregularities''.
