Millions of Muslim pilgrims to this year's hajj will today observe the most important stage of the exercise by observing standing at the Mount Arafat.
At dawn of today Muslim pilgrims will make their way in millions to the Arafat plain. It was at this site that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) delivered his famous farewell sermon in his final year on earth. Yesterday, Muslims, in buses, cars, foot and other means of transportation chanting the 'talbiyya' moved to Mina to begin hajj rites.
