The Governor of Ekiti–State, Dr Kayode Fayemihas been called upon to ensure the full processing of the Ikogosi Cold and Warm Springs from its raw form to an enviable tourism site capable of attracting millions of people to the state every year
The leader of Day Star Church and one of the teachers of the Bible, Pastor Sam Adeyemi who expressed this view when he visited Ikogosi Cold and Warm Springs recently said: "I came all the way from Lagos to see one of the wonders of the Lord in this town, Ikogosiand this lucky state, Ekiti. I am impressed by the attempt being made by the incubent governor at processing this marvelous work of God for the benefit of humanity. This is commendable."
Pastor Adeyemi said that he was happy to be at Ikogosi Warm Springs "I thank God for the latitude of being here today to appreciate one of His wonders on earth and in Nigeria. I have heard and read about this "mysterious cold and warm springs so warm that you can use it to prepare eba' from my school days."
He pointed out that "I have never seen a country so loved by God and well blessed by Him. God so well loved this country that there is no mineral and natural resources that he did not plant here. No. He did it so well that whatever you do not find in the North, he made abundant in the South and whatever is missed in the East, he made it plentiful in the West. Awesome God. He planned everything for us as He did for Adams and Eve in the Garden of Eden."
Pastor Adeyemi lamented that: "Despite the fact that God blessed us with awful quantum of intelligence which He deposited in each of us, we have refused to apply this in processing the natural resources for the benefit of humanity, we have no cause to be at this level of development. God prepared everything raw for us free of charge only waiting for us to process them."
He commended Dr Fayemi for commencing the processing of the Ikogosi Warm Springs from its raw form "I have to commend the governor here for being able to kick–start theprocessing of this wonderful spring for the benefit of all. I am sure that if he is able to complete this at this rate and standard, he would be leaving behind an unforgettable trademark of reference of a job well done."
Pastor Adeyemi in a feel of both the warm and cold water said that like other natural tourism sites in the world, the new Ikogosi Warm Springs if successfully completed will elevate the town and the state in the comity of tourism states in the world.
"I pray that God almighty will enable Governor Fayemi and give him the grace to complete the processing of this warm spring to its desirable best as it will open another window of good news about Ekiti and its wonderful people."
