-Not available to students entering the programme from Paris I. This scholarship is not available to these students as they do not pay KCL tuition fees and pay fees to Paris I which are far less than those paid by students entering the programme

through King's.

-The Dickson Poon Scholarship programme focuses on students who demonstrate academic excellence, outstanding potential and life ambition.Scholarship Open for International Students: The students of any Nationality/UK/EU can apply for this scholarship.Scholarship Description:The Dickson Poon Scholarship programme focuses on students who demonstrate academic excellence, outstanding potential and life ambition.The Dickson Poon Scholarship programme focuses on students who demonstrate academic excellence, outstanding potential and life ambition. Up to 75 scholarships will be awarded to the best undergraduates enrolling in law in 2013.Number of awards offered:  75 undergraduate scholarships - 25 are worth full home/EU fees for all years of study, while the remaining 50 are worth £18,000 over three years.

The scholarships are available as follows:

-Politics, Philosophy & Law LLB programme – up to 10 scholarships

-Law LLB programme – up to 10 scholarships

-English Law & French Law LLB programme  – up to 5 scholarships

-All Undergraduate Law LLB programmes – up to 50 scholarships

-Residents of Hong Kong and People's Republic of China – up to 15 scholarshipsTenure of award:It is applicable for three years. What does it cover?This depends on the scholarship:

-Home/EU full tuition fee scholarships will be paid at the start of each year.

-The £18,000 scholarships will be paid out at the rate of £6,000 per year with one payment of £3,000 at the start of the first semester and another at the start of the second.Selection criteria:The following information is involved in the selection process:

-Predicted results for A-level or equivalent examinations

-Actual results for A-level or equivalent examinations

-Actual multiple choice results for LNAT test

-Essay component for LNAT test

-First class honours degree for graduate applicants
