SaharaReporters: Ribadu Wins ACN Presidential Nomination By Acclamation

Former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, yesterday won the nomination of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) at the party's national convention in Lagos.

Ribadu was proclaimed winner by a general vote of party delegates across the country after other contestants withdrew from the contest.

Mr. Ribadu will square off against Goodluck Jonathan, the candidate of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) who defeated his rival at the PDP national convention in Abuja, as well as candidates of other eligible parties
