Ejide out of Farense clash

Nigeria goalkeeper, Austin Ejide will miss Wednesday's tune-up game against Portuguese club, Farense.

The Hapoel Be'er Sheva keeper went off injured during the Super Eagles' friendly against Cape Verde on January 9 and was subsequently replaced by Vincent Enyeama.

Ejide commenced training on Monday but Wednesday's friendly against the Portuguese second division-club will arrive too soon for the 28-year-old.

He trained with the team's goalkeeping trainer, Ike Shorinmu and physiotherapist, Olawale Oladejo with both individuals confirming that they won't rush.
