Algeria win Platinum Stars in warm-up match

Algeria have concluded their friendly for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations with a 4-1 victory over South African PSL side platinum Stars in Moruleng on Thursday night.

Strikes from Rafik Halliche, Yacline Bezzaz, Foued Kadir and Sofiane Feghouli sealed the win, with two goal scored in either half. Halliche's was the pick of the bunch, a fine long-range effort.

Stars fielded two different sides in either half, mostly using fringe players as they prepare for the 2nd half of the PSL season. Stricker Joshua Sauls netted for them from the penalty-spot.

Siphelele Mthembu was also denied by a good save from Algerian goalkeeper Rais M'Bolhi.

Algeria has always been a tough AFCON team, i would love them to face Nigeria sef
