Xavi Hernandez to extend Barca deal

Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez will extend his contract with the Catalan giants until 2016, the Spanish league leaders revealed on Wednesday.

'' The midfielder will extend his deal on Monday. He will sign a new contract that will keep him at the club until June, 2016 '', Barcelona said on their website.

Xavi's new deal is the third secured with key players at the club.

Veteran central defender Carles Puyol also signed a new contract till 2016 on Tuesday while Lionel Messi committed himself until 2018 at the end of December (This guy no send any other club o!).
