'Sissoko proved his value' - Alan Pardew

Newcastle United coach Alan Pardew said new signing Moussa Sissoko had already proved his value after scoring twice in his side's 3-2 victory over Chelsea.

French midfielder  Sissoko, 23, has been at the club nine days since signing from Toulouse for a reported £1.8m. And he has started in the two games as Newcastle secured back-to-back league wins for the first time since April.

'' We accelerated the deal because he was going to come in summer and he's paid us back handsomely '', said Pardew.

'' I don't need to say anything about him because his performance said it all ''.
