Beckham: I want to win more throphies

David Beckham has made known his desire to win more throphies even as he closes in on  the end of his footballing career.

The 37-year-old believes that his influence off the field could be important but he still remains confident about his ability and wants to have a similar impact like his former team-mates Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs have had at Manchester United.

"I might be able to create good things that happen off the field but on the field is where I want to be successful. I want to be a champion and I want to win trophies," he told reporters.
