Warri Wolves block Agbim, Mba Rangers switch

The management of Premier League side, Warri Wolves, has put a plug to the transfer of Super Eagles duo, goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim and midfielder Sunday Mba to Rangers or any other domestic club side.

Both players are currently in the Super Eagles squad campaigning for honour in the on-going 29th Africa Cup of Nations holding in South Africa.

A statement by the spokesman of the club, Etu Moses said the decision was taken considering assurances that the 2012/13 Nigeria Premier League will kick-off on February 16 as earlier planned by the Interim Management Committee of the NPL.

'' Up till now no concrete offer has been received from any club in the country so we have no choice than to advice them to see out the contract with Warri Wolves ''.
