Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Dosu Joseph believes the Super Eagles performance so far in South Africa has silenced the team's critics.

Stephen Keshi shocked so many Nigerians by dropping top stars like Obafemi Martins, Osaze Odemwingie, Kalu Uche amongst others as he included six-locally-based players in his final 23-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

'' I agree with the coach on his decision to stick with some of the home-based players who have proven themeselves in the team '', the 1996 Atlanta Olympics gold medalist said.
