Nigeria stricker Emmanuel Emenike sat out the team's training session on Saturday evening to raise doubts about his eligibility for Sunday's 2013 Africa Cup of Nations final against Burkina Faso.

The stricker who is also the joint top scorer in the competition with 4 goals picked up an injury late in the second half of Nigeria's 4-1 semifinal success against Mali on Wednesday.

Head coach of the Nigeria team, Stephen Keshi had kept his cards close to his chest as regards the current state of Emenike and Victor Moses who also failed to finish Wednesday's semi final against Mali as a result of a knock.

Moses' situation seems to be more favourable as he trained with the rest of the squad on Saturday.

Moses has made 11 appearances for Nigeria.
