Job Title: Design/Layout Specialist

Background: A USAID-funded project in northern Nigeria aimed at strengthening state and local government capacity to deliver basic education services by addressing key issues in the management, sustainability and oversight of basic education as well as increasing access of orphans and vulnerable children to basic education and services such as health information and counseling.

Qualification and Skill Set:

•   Minimum of 15 years experience working in the design and graphics section of advertizing, magazine production or book publishing.

•   Minimum of 10 years experience in design and layout of specialized publications such as technical reports, books, manuals, posters, campaign documents and organizational information packs.

•   Experience in design and layout of books/publications published by international publishers.

•   Attention to detail and outstanding production quality of previous books and manuals produced.

Objectives:

•   Cover design of project publications.

•   Graphics design and text layout of project publications.

•   Graphics designs of project marketing/gift items

•   Graphic designs of project conference folders, bags, kits and documents

•   Typography design of project publications.

•   Picture editing of project publications.
