Robert Huth charged over violent conduct

Stoke City defender Robert Huth has been charged with violent conduct following an incident during Saturday's 1-0 Premier League defeat away to Fulham, the Football Association announced on Tuesday.

The German defender is facing disciplinary action regarding a clash with Fulham's Philippe Senderos that was not seen at the time by match officials at Craven Cottage but was caught on video.

Huth has until 1800GMT on Wednesday to respond to the charge.

Fulham FC won the match thanks to Bulgaria striker Dimitar Berbatov's superb volley on the stroke of halftime [The guy is doing really well for himself...He has learnt a lot from Ferguson].

Despite their defeat, Stoke remained a place and a point in front of Fulham in 10th position in the table.
