NFF urges Flying Eagles to be focused

President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, has called on the country's U-20 national team, Flying Eagles, to be focused and prepare well for the upcoming African Youth Championship scheduled to hold in Algeria beginning from March 16.

The soccer administrator who spoke with Complete Sports on the team's preparation ahead of the tournament said the FA has done a lot and still working hard to ensure that the team perform well in Algeria.

The Flying Eagles who are currently at a training camp in Tunisia, will play Mali, DR Congo and Gabon during the preliminary round of the tournament.

"This is a team that has been in camp for quite some weeks now and we know what we have done and still doing to make sure they have good preparation for the tournament in Algeria. So you will agree with me that we are just waiting for the players to go there and give their best to fly the country's flag higher," says the FA boss.

"We are monitoring everything about the team's preparation and the report coming from there has been very positive and we are hopeful that it will help the players to concentrate well on how to excel at the competition."
