Stephen Worgu back in Enyimba

Striker Stephen Worgu has made a dramatic return to six-time Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Enyimba.

Worgu, who joins the club for an undisclosed fee for the 2012/13 season, had previously played for the People's Elephants between 2006 and 2007 helping the club win the NPFL title in his final season at the club.

The 23-year-old also played for Al Ahly Benghazi and Al Merreikh scoring seven goals in 41 appearances for both clubs within a troubled four-year stint in North Africa.

He has now made a detour and will try to help the Aba club win their seventh NPFL title as well as add to their two FA Cup triumphs.

"It feels good to be back. Enyimba is a big club and I want to help them win more titles this season," Worgu told supersport.com.

Worgu began his professional football education with Ocean Boys in 2005 and helped the club win the NPFL title a season later.
