Job Title: Assistant Regulatory Manager

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Unit: All Business Units

Company: PZ Cussons – Nigeria

The successful candidate will be require to

•   Contribute to the implementation, coordination and provision of regulatory support to the new products in Nigeria as well as efficiently manage product portfolio, information and documentation in a manner that is aligned with the company's business objectives.

•   Maintenance of relevant databases.

Responsibilities:

•   Registration of new products with relevant regulatory agencies viz: NAFDAC,SON.

•   Renewal registration of existing products.

•   Registration of product variations e.g. pack size extension, change of product name e.t.c.

•   Compilation of product dossiers.

•   Co-ordinate GMP inspections

•   Interact and follow up with regulatory agencies and collaborate with internal and external customers.

•   Assist with compliance and general functioning of the department.

•   Support local and corporate business objectives by active team work and interaction with internal colleagues and external contacts.

•   Maintain product databases to ensure the information is always current.

Qualifications:

•   A first degree in a science based discipline e.g. Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology

•   1-2 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs will be an added advantage

•   Computer skills must include working knowledge of word, excel, power point and use of the internet.

•   Good verbal and written communication.

•   Good interpersonal skills

•   Ability to work as part of a team.

•   Ability to build relationships across departments and functions.
