1.   JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a leading provider of maritime services to a multi-national clientele, has a well-deserved reputation for consistent and reliable service delivery. To further strengthen its operational capabilities, the company is seeking to hire an experienced and hardworking industry professional into the following role: Ferry Operations Manager                      

Role: Reporting to the Executive Director, Legal & Administration, you will oversee the set up and commencement of the company's new ferry operation division. In this capacity, you will:

• Oversee routing development, jetty supervision, timetables and other operational guidelines for the ferry operations

• Ensure proper maintenance of the boats to ensure optimal performance as well as develop safety procedures to assure the safety of passengers and crew at all times across the full range of sailing operations

• Ensure all records are properly kept and submitted on a timely basis

• Ensure the company's full compliance with all the Lagos State Government and Federal Government rules and regulations at all times

1.   JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Aged 35 – 40 years

• Degree-qualified in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum of five years' managerial experience working in fleet operations in the transportation or maritime industry

• Demonstrable track record of success in ferry operations and strong man-management skills

• Computer literacy and a good working knowledge of common office productivity tools are essential
