Progressive Global Energy is currently seeking to identify an experienced Upstream Human Resources Business Partner to join a leading Independent Exploration and Production organisation inLagos,Nigeria.

Our client have an exceptional position in the market dictated by their diverse asset portfolio on the West African Coast, and as such are seeking a talented individual to take leadership of the Upstream Human Resources function and provide strategic support to the development and expansion of the company.

With this in mind, we are seeking a Nigerian professional with extensive experience working abroad with major US and UK Independents in a Human Resources function, an individual who will play a key role in ensuring the organisation's strategy is fully implemented from an HR point of view and will be looking at areas such as:

• Resourcing and Recruiting

• Performance and Reward

• People Engagement and Organisational Effectiveness

• Learning and Development

• HR Information Systems

• HR Business Planning

From a personal point of view, we are seeking a personable however strong minded individual who can be a powerful advocate for the policies they are proposing.

Skills& Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in a HR function, ideally most having being spent overseas

• Extensive experience working Internationally with well known Independent (US&UKbased) Exploration and Production organisations

• Demonstrated understanding of the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry dynamics in relation to staffing, talent management, organisational effectiveness and translate trends to ensure Business meets objectives

• Excellent track record of implementing and creating change policies
