Interface Engineer Plans, conducts and lead interface issues on Engineering projects. Offers significant contributions to a variety of problems and/or projects. Act as principal interface between work packages and third party contractors on major projects. Ensures that projects meet specifications, standards and performance requirements within area of expertise

Requirements:
  • Degree + 5-10 years experience.
  • Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge of subsea Production Systems with experience from two or more of the following products; trees, manifolds, topsides controls, connection systems, subsea processing systems, installation, wellheads, subsea controls & distribution and overall system integration
  • General understanding of internal economic factors (cost, margins, profit impact of decisions) affecting interface and battery limits on field development project
  • Must be proficient in use of CAD and Database systems related to Engineering functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with cultural awareness, excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently create functional & cost effective designs that meet complex
  • specification requirements. Regularly demonstrates capability for conceptualizing designs.
  • Shows evidence of good organization and project planning skills.
  • Shows evidence of ability to guide and mentor others and demonstrates some degree of leadership

Role:
  • Interprets and applies relevant policies & procedures.
  • Receives objectives and guidelines for projects. Regularly assigned ownership of conceptual design.
  • Analyzes and interprets data independently. Anticipates potential problems and takes preventative
  • action. Participates in the project planning and schedule process.
  • Reviews the work of others for accuracy and soundness of judgment.
  • Spends 70% of time in office. Some travel maybe required and frequent meetings.
