We have a number of live requirements acrossNigeriawithin Structural Engineering disciplines. At present looking for a Lead structural Engineer based in Lagos.

Role: Supervises a group of five or more Engineers plus design personnel, usually in one discipline, by directing technical engineering assignments and coordinating project staffing assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in technical review and Constructability meetings.
• Must report project progress accurately,
• Very conversant with design Codes and Standards and be able to apply them in design and specification writing. (BE EU, API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, AWS, etc)
• Must have two or more special skill/knowledge based areas in Civil/Structural designs and engineering. Also, should be conversant with foundation and structural designs.
• Prepare reliable CTRs (man-hour) and budget estimates for proposals and tenders.
• Engaged in inter-discipline Squad check of design deliverables and be able manage discipline interfaces
• Assist project management group in providing relevant discipline inputs to Project's Design & Execution Plan, Schedule, Cost Estimating, Progress Measurement & Reporting, etc)
• Initiates and/or reviews change order requests for additions, deletions, or changes to the original scope of work.

This is a Contract position – ongoing and offered with an initial term of 12 months.
