Job Description:

Beta Shipping Ltd., which is the Agency Office of Union Maritime Ltd, is a logistics service provider with an invaluable depth of experience in operating offshore in Lagos, in Nigeria.

We are looking for a Finance Officer, who is a hard working individual, with a focus and can do attitude. Good English skills in all disciplines are essential as well as excellent control of MS office programs.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

•   Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce or Inter CA

•   Experience: 3 – 5 years in Accounts Department in a Logistics or Shipping Unit

•   Familiar with banking operations

•   Reconciliations with banks

•   Working knowledge of GAAP's, VAT, WHT and Income Tax laws

•   Reporting: Directly to Finance Head

•   IT Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP,  MS Office (especially Excel & Word)

•   Language Skills: Proficienct in written & spoken English

•   Good English skills in all disciplines are essential as well as excellent control of MS office programs.
