The ripple effect of the Super Eagles draw with the Harambee Stars of Kenya last Saturday is still lingering on the minds of some of the players as they departed for the various destination.

Kano Pillars defensive midfielder, Gabriel Reuben is one of such players. The tall midfielder said that he still cannot come to terms with the result of the game.

"As a professional, you're suppose to move on and prepare for the next assignment, but I must admit this draw has left a bitter taste in my mouth personally.

"We had a bad day at the office, we couldn't shift gears, it was a strange game.
.
The former Enyimba player, who was an unused substitute, also sang the praises of the Kenyan team who led the Super Eagles until the equaliser in the dying moments of the game.

"Kenya came with a game plan and it worked for 89 minutes, they are a good side and displayed good tactical awareness.

"They were very defensive and well organised, It was very difficult to break them down, but I think a draw is a fair reflection of the game.

The Super Eagles managed to secure a 1-1 draw with the Harambee Stars courtesy an added minute goal by AS Varese player, Nnamdi Oduamadi.

Nigeria still top their World Cup qualifying Group F on five points and a superior goals difference ahead of Malawi who have same points.
