Job Title: WASH Officer

Save the Children Nigeria is a leading international organization in over eight states in Nigeria with a current staff complement of approximately 123 staff and current expenditure of approximately GBP 6.8 million each year. Our programme implementation is focused in the Northern States including Katsina, Kebbi, Zamfara where we have offices and in .Jigawa, Gombe, Yobe, Bauchi and Kaduna where we work with and through partners.

Job Description: To support the implementation of WASH component of the project such as construction/rehabilitations, follow up on community hygiene groups, and collaboration with WASH stakeholders at state/LGA levels.

Qualifications: A University degree in Geology, Geography or other WASH-related fields, at least three years post-graduation experience, advanced degree will be an added advantage, previous experience with other local and international NGOs, Experience in Nutrition and in community based programmes, Training and experience on borehole and VIP latrine construction/rehabilitation; and Community mobilisation and advocacy experience.
