Job Title: Architect

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Duties and Responsibilities:

•   Design and interpret Architecture, Mechanical and electrical drawings.

•   Manage and oversee project from design to delivery

•   Manage and forecast spend, using whole life cycle costing techniques, ensuring that work is kept to budget

•   Liaise closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, builders, architects and surveyors, and in-house project teams

•   Ensure on time delivery of client projects.  

•   Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) software and other resources to design all the systems required for the project

•   Ensuring site-specific equipment is used for all project

•   Organizing and assessing the work of contractors

•   Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures

•   Monitoring building systems and processes

•   Evaluation of progress, safety and quality assurance control.

•   Ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

•   Bachelor Degree in Architecture or equivalent

•   Proven ability to work independently to photo composite, model, animate and render highly realistic environments.

•   Proven knowledge and use of 3D Software Apps: Maya8, Mental Ray render and texturing

•   Must be proficient in Adobe CS3 Photoshop ,n Adobe CS3 Illustrator, Acrobat

•   Familiarity with After Effects, Premiere, Adobe Flash a plus

•   Good judgment of animation speed and good sense of rhythm.
