We are representing a leading European company who are looking for an experienced senior agronomist responsible for all agricultural concerns, of a group of companies operating in the agribusiness and construction sector in Southern Nigeria. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the group MD and CEO.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility will be to insure the overall profitability of agribusiness operations.

• Provide leadership and management to plantation management teams.

• Development and implement a group agribusiness plan.

• Insure that all agribusiness operations and running effectively.

• Build relationships with local tribes, unions and government.

Requirements:

• 10 years' experience in the Agribusiness sector.

• 7 years senior management on commercial plantations of farms.]

• Multisite management experience.

• Experience of developing new agribusiness operations i.e. Greenfield operations.

• 5 year experience in emerging markets such as West Africa, Indonesia or Malaysia

• Fluent English
