Dimeji Lawal Calls For Peace In Eagles Camp

Erstwhile Super Eagles midfielder, Dimeji Lawal, has called on Captain Joseph Yobo and Coach Stephen Keshi to put an end to their dispute and concentrate on the progress of the game in the country.

The former Real Madrid of Spain star, opined that with the upcoming World Cup qualifiers and Confederations Cup ahead, the duo need to put their grievances to bed and concentrate on the games ahead.

Lawal, reiterated that if things don`t get resolved, Nigeria could miss out of the World Cup. "Keshi and Yobo should just resolve their problems and face the progress of the game in the country" he began.

"Looking at the games the Super Eagles have to play now, with the FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the Confederation Cup in front, we need total concentration to move ahead. If there is no end to the problem now, I am afraid we might be on the verge of missing out of the World Cup in Brazil and you know what that means." he sums up.

The Super Eagles play against Mexico in Houston Texas, USA on May 31st and FIFA Confederations Cup in mid July,2013.

I feel there is peace already in the camp, it's just a little quarell that will definately pass. Yobo and Keshi are fine now
