Sambo Entice Canadian Investors

Vice President Namadi Sambo has called
on Canadian Investors to invest in Nigeria as the
nation's frontiers are opened to accommodate all
investment drives.

A statement issued in Abuja on Saturday by the
Vice President's Senior Special Assistant on Media,
Malam Umar Sani, said Sambo made the call at a
dinner organised in his honour by the Nigerian
High Commission in Toronto, Canada on Friday.

It stated that the vice president tasked the
prospective investors to invest in the power,
transport, health, education, agriculture , mining
information and communication technology,
security and good governance.

According to the statement, Sambo called on the
investors to come to Nigeria as there is an
investment climate that will be beneficial to them.

"He further assured the investors of a friendly
environment and noted the efforts to fight
corruption and other forms of crime.
